Meet David

David MC is a highly experienced international voice actor, event MC and film/TV talent whose voice has been heard by millions of people across the world. Trusted, versatile and effective across all business sectors, his voice has represented Fortune 500 companies such as Apple, Samsung, Walt Disney, Nike, Canon, J.P. Morgan, Intel, Cigna, 3M, Royal Dutch Shell PLC and many more.

 

Based in Hong Kong with a focus on the Asia-Pacific and US markets, David has also left a notable impression on the Asian landscape with clients such as HSBC, Huawei, Alibaba’s Alipay, Guotai Junan, SmarTone, 1010 and PCCW. Since 2007, he has been one of Hong Kong’s top voice actors and event MCs.Drawing on his experience on stage and screen,

 

David is a sought-after speech coach and runs a masterclass for corporate employees to perfect their public speaking at events and conferences.On the entertainment side, he has been the face and voice of TVN Asia both at live red-carpet events and as a studio host on Discover TVN. He also had a speaking role in the 2015 film Blackhat starring Chris Hemsworth and directed by Michael Mann, and played the lead role in Disney XD's Kaitou Joker animated series in 2016.

 

David's voice was heard by millions during the 56th Annual Grammy Awards in a televised commercial for four-time Grammy Award-winning rap duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Born and raised in the South Side of Chicago, David attended and graduated from The University of Illinois on an acting scholarship. He worked as a radio talk show host for chicagocritic.com and eventually got his start in voice acting with a successful stint in Los Angeles.

 

Having moved to Hong Kong in 2007, David continues to actively develop his Cantonese and Mandarin public speaking skills while expanding his presence in voice acting, performance and corporate speech training in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
