Condensed Bio

David started his career in Chicago, USA, before heading to Los Angeles and then Hong Kong in 2007. He is a top MC/Host and voice actor, international both in scope and experience, with a focus on Asia-Pacific and the broader US market. Millions of people have heard him as the voice of many of today’s most trusted brands (including Fortune 500 companies like JP Morgan, Intel, Walt Disney, Cigna, and 3M, and also Chinese companies like Huawei, Alibaba’s Alipay and Guotai Junan) and celebrated tv shows, movies and animated series.

 

Major clients include SmarTone, 3M and Carlsberg. David is also continuing his role as the official voice of tvN and tvN movies. This is set to be an exciting year with a few secret projects that have yet to be announced. Stay tuned for details!

Have you heard about the new Lexus UX, or the Toyota Mirai? How about the new attractions at Disneyland or HSBC's presence at the Rugby sevens? If you have, chances are you heard it from David. He has been busy behind the mic for some of this year's hottest commercials. 

For the past several years, David has been the face and voice of TVN Asia. Both at live celebrity red carpet events and as the Host of the TVN Original production Discover TVN. He has also appeared in numerous television commercials for major brands. Not to mention, playing the part of a historical figure in an upcoming feature length movie.

On stage David works as an MC for large international brands such as YSL, HSBC, Road FC, The Asia MMA Awards, Jacobson, Reckitt Benckiser and more.

David showed his flair in the Asian markets doing his first ever official work speaking mandarin for Alipay. He worked as an MC for Road FC in Beijing. He did voice overs for Huawei.  David's voice was also featured on Chibi Maruko (櫻桃小丸子) as Grandpa.

Was a year of helping people reach their dreams. David lent his talents to companies like Royal Dutch Shell PLC, (commonly known as Shell), Polytechnic University, Manulife and Invesco.

A year of casinos and fashion. David was feeling stylish and lucky producing works for YSL, Studio City Macau, and City of Dreams Manila. Not to mention playing the lead role in Disney's Kaito Joker animated series. 

David received credit in cinemas world wide for his speaking role in Blackhat. The Hollywood film directed by Michael Mann and starring Wei Tang (汤唯), Leehom Wang  (王力宏) and Thor actor Chris Hemsworth.

David worked as an MC for YSL, and Reckitt Benckiser, and made numerous appearances on TVB.

David's voice was heard by millions during The 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards in a televised commercial for 4 time Grammy Award winning rap duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. The year saw David modeling for Nikon, recording voices for Phillips, and working as an MC for expos in Singapore and Hong Kong.


After spending a few years in Chicago and Los Angeles David turned pro and has been a full time talent in Hong Kong since.

The early years

David completed his degree on an acting scholarship from The University of Illinois at Chicago. He worked as a radio talk show host for Chicagocritic.com. He also spent 2 years in the Chicago Rock Band "Amber V" that produced a short studio album and performed in the Chicago Bar scene. During university, David also worked as a Co-Director for Aunt Martha's an NGO that provides coaching for teens and a crisis intervention hotline. Originally, David never considered entertainment, but got his start after friends and family noticed that he may have a talent for the arts, especially with voices. After several years of encouragement, he gave it a try and it has been a driving force in his life since.
